Adopted!

Calamari got back from his neuter surgery and was ready to hit adoption events! He got adopted at his very first event! But no surprise here... Look at that sweet face!

Sharing Secrets

Snicker Doodle (one of the Christmas Cookies) is telling Calamari all of her secrets... He is happy to listen. 

Cuddle Kitten

Calamari likes to play, but his goal in life is to cuddle as much as he can! If you're sitting down, then he wants to be curled up in your lap purring. Look at those adoring eyes of his! So handsome!

Pet me!

Calamari is quite the little love bug! He LOVES being petted and is always jumping into my lap for cuddle time. He is a great little reading buddy.

Meeting Calamari

I was looking for teeny tiny kittens to foster, but when they told me Calamari's story I knew I couldn't leave him behind. Calamari and his sister were found as strays on October 10th. They were two months old at the time and apparently very shy and feral. They were lucky enough to be placed in a loving foster home where they learned to trust. His sister got adopted, but they worried that Calamari was too shy. Shy animals tug on my heartstrings. I love them. So I said to add Calamari to my pick up list.

When I arrived to pick him up. I expected him to be terrified, but he just calmly watched me from his carrier and took a little snooze while we drove home. He was super cute and fluffy with big green eyes.

When we arrived at my place, I took him to the kitten room to meet some of his new roomies. The Italian Duo, Meatballs and Spaghetti, met him with suspicion, but Calamari quickly won them over with his gentle patience and sweet nature.

 

When the Christmas Cookie Kittens arrived later that evening Calamari was the perfect gentleman. They could be as upset as they wanted, but all Calamari wanted to do was be loved. He jumped right into my arms and started to purr as he snuggled in and nuzzled me. This little guy was a cuddle bug and not shy at all!

When it was time for bed I gave him a kiss and gently put him down. He headed for his fancy new bed and settled in for a snooze. What a sweet kitten I have here!
